Black Swan

in Denmark we are behind when it comes to movie releases and it is terribly annoying when there is a movie you really want to watch. I am drop dead exited about the movie Black Swan which premieres in January. It stars my favorite actress Natalie Portman and another great Winona Ryder. I can't wait for this thriller and i have no doubt that it will be a movie to remember.

Walton Ford at louisianna

Sorry I havn't posted for a while but school has been busy and a dance recital last week (yes, I dance). So my world was in a big knot and i wonder how i survived...

In an art museum in northern Copenhagen they are currently showing a exhibition with Walton Ford. if you son't know him he is a wonderful artist who paints stunning yet brutal surreal paintings.

Heres an example of one of his paintings. I can't wait to go but luckily my mom and aunt love art so maybe i can hitch a ride?

Just watched the devil wears Prada, and well it includes the song the city of blinding lights by U2 (one of my favorite bands) and well I've been listening to it for the past while and well goosh I love it! U2 is one of the ulimate brands!!!

Shoes!

Wish for next xummer even though I would love to have them now. Viktor and Rolf are pure genius and so are these shoes, guess who checked out 2000 of next spring/summer shoes ? NERD! but my goodness they were beautiful, drugs and other highs can jump over a ledge! Shoes CAN make you high! don't you think ?

Music

Music is an eye opener and a direct link to peoples emotions... what would we do without it?
I have for the past while been considering this question and i have come to the conclusion that the world would be a much less happy place. Think about the beatles ( I know typical example ) but think about it, there is  always a happy beat and it makes you happy songs make you feel them, live them and sometimes you just enjoy the beat but for whatever reason we all enjoy music and thank god for that!

I didn't manage to give you guys a wish yesterday so heres 2!!!

These really cool merino wool leggings from alexander Wang are just so layed back while at the same time being really chic mix em with a large chunky sweater and some cool shoes and voila!

I have been considering buying an amazon kindle, but then I came across NookColor from barnes and nobles, its similar to an ipad just without the apps, it has WiFi and i can read books an magazines on it ! for a fifth of an ipads price. I'm buying it :)

Wish of the day is..... JEANS!!
I love jeans and pants in general but hey i only have 3 pairs of jeans so could easily use some more and this pair from aAbercrombie and Fitch is really cool.

I still haven't bought myself a striped tee so mabye wishing for one would be a good idea heres one I think is really cute and is from wood wood :

For the next while i'll post a christmas wish everyday (if possible) and even if they are unrealistic I hope they will inspire you all to dream big and small, just find the stuff you wish for even if it means dreaming a little.

One of my major Christmas wishes is a Yves Saint Laurent ring! they are all really beautiful and artistic and the perfect addition to any outfit.
This one is simple and will match almost anything ( you'll definitely see some more )

"The Lessons"

Over the past time i have been reading a wonderful book,i really enjoyed it so i thought that i should write a summary here it is!

The lessons by Naomi Alderman is a fantastic book! It is about a group of students studying at oxford and what they all later experience in their lives. The main character is James, a handsome young physics student, who suddenly finds himself lost at Oxford after an accident where he has to take a break from school. He meets Jess another student and soon they develop a strong relationship. Jess's group of friends are all beautiful successful and filled with a life force that James completely lacks. One of the friends, mark a young very wealthy theology student invites the group to live with him and within the next many years the friends live in harmony. Jess and James stick together and soon the friends split up each going on with their lives. Jess and James move to London and Mark to everyone’s surprise marries a young woman even though they all know that Mark is gay. James feels a stab of jealousy because he discovers his feelings for mark.

Later on Mark and James start an affair. Mark becomes a dad to a little girl named Daisy. Sadly in an act of anger mark crashes the car with little daisy on the back seat Mark survives but Daisy doesn’t live to see another day.

Mark going through severe trauma needs James and Jess and James split up and James moves with mark across Europe until they settle in Italy. Here Mark starts spending time with local young men and James is left to himself.

After a few years James gets severely beaten up by Mark in an argument and decides to sleep at a local hotel. In town he meets Jess who confronts him with his relationship to Mark.

When James returns, mark won't believe him when he says hes leaving for good. The book ends with James packing his things only the ones from before mark and leaves with the train to Rome. Finally in his own way free.

I'm going to a Halloween party! just a small one with one of my best friends and lots of Halloween movies like "van helsing" (great movie by the way, just don't think about the crappy graphics ;))

Happy Halloween!

I'm dreaming of Lanvin for christmas.... and a large pile of fluffy white snow :)
My christmas mood is at a high now all i have to wait for is for the stores and citys to decorate. I'm more than exited for Lanvin for H and M sadly my dress is one of the most expensive and as a highschool student my bank account doesnt have a large saum on it.

i'm so exited you wouldn't believe it! I love Lanvin and making it (relatively) affordable is so wonderful that i simply can't contain my enthusiasm. This dress I have a soft spot for and I desperately hope that I can afford it but for the dresses the prices are around 1300 - 1500 kr. so hopefully I can save up until the 23 rd of November :) trust me i'll be sitting in front of the store drinking hot cocoa.

Sundays an abosutely wonderful day of the week! sadly today its rainy and depressively grey but hopefully it will get better so today i think i'll stay inside with a cup of hot cocoa and maybe a piece of dark chocolate ?

I abslotuely adore the clothing from Tsumori Chisato, the way she combines the fairytale world theme in her clothing while at the same time it remains chic, absolutely brilliant!

Thoughts of today

i am one of those people who are good at a lot of things but cant find out their meant to do. Today all I want to do is move to New York because somehow I know that my answer is there. It may sound odd but its a  feeling I have...
Came across a great quote today : "Always be kind, for everyone is fighting a hard battle" - Plato . Its a really good quote, because it reminds us that other people are experiencing hardships as we go through ours so getting angry and aggressive is unnecessary

R.I.P Alexander Mcqueen

I have always had the deepest respect for Alexander Mcqueen. I love his clothes and his art. The art of making gorgeous clothes. He is my second favorite couture designer after Christian Lacroix (trust me on this blog you'll hear lots about his clothes) He is deeply missed especially when I look at his last collection that was so beautiful, trust me if I had that kind of money I would by one of his dresses on the spot. Guess i'll have to wait for a vintage one when I get older!

I found this photo on the web earlier today i absolutely adore the contrast of the gold headpiece and the white. I also love the suit, I have always loved suits and tailored clothes, but sadly i have never been able to afford it :(

Otherwise i'm chilling while watching gossip girl and doing my math homework. Nothing major but nice and relaxing from otherwise hectic everyday life.

I have just started my high school education. I looovvvveee clothes and shoes and anything in that area and i also have a soft spot for books, culture and art. I love to write, sew, read (books and fashion magazines) and draw. I'm not the big artist but i find it beyond relaxing.
