Dreaming of Prada...

I can't really decide if  I think the Prada lace ups from this season are cheasy or chik... but I don't care ! I LOVE them and even though they are out there, they are just too weird and fun for me not to love them. Mabye if I decide to save up i'll get them but so far they are a distant dream...

Here is a photo of a shirt i bought, its from j. crew and ordered it at net-a-porter.com while they had free shipping, can't help but love that site even though i can't afford like 90% of everything there.

Eternal literature

Just a few days ago i finished Reading the wonderful book "the great Gatsby" by F. Scott Fitzgerald. At first i had decided to read it because i had heard of it as one of the greatest pieces of American literature. I had no idea what it was about, it just felt appealing to read a very famous piece of eternal literature. I was in for a surprise. This is now definitely one of my favourite books, its a wonderfully sad story but it reignited a feeling in me. Its filled with long lost love to be remembered experienced and Then lost again. I experienced all the ups and downs of the characters and i loved every moment, even though its about 80 years old the story of love and the drama and feelings that are hard to explain is eternal. It reminds us to live and not forget.

The new "scent"

I have now find my new favorite perfume, its the new vesace " Vanitas". It's really pretty in it's golden bottle that still contains the classic edge of Versace and the scent well I think it smell wonderfully of the big white magnolia flowers. It's one of my favorite flowers that has a heavy scent but doesn't become to much because it has a special freshness to it.

Art Gallery

This Saturday I attended a private viewing of an art gallery called "44 Møen" it's located in the middle of nowhere but it's definitely worth a visit. It was rather exciting but I just stood for the general serving of wine for the rich and artistically talented, still it was interesting and I managed to view to the art. The art exhibition is called folklore and some up and coming artists and some established had each made their pieces and there were several happenings for the private viewing.

These cups where an art piece by an artist named Mette Winckelmann and people were offered to drink coffee from them. It was a wonderful idea and the though that maybe art is something that we can connect and feel is something that i find interesting, one could wonder if it is still art but is it not arts purpose to ask questions and make us wonder ?
